Evening tea ritual
A gentle evening tea preparation with chamomile and a spoon of elderberry sirup to round off the day.
Ingredients
- Note: do not use chamomile if you have a known allergy to daisy family plants.
- 2 heapedtsp dried chamomile flowers (Matricaria chamomilla)
- 500 mlwater, just off the boil
- 2 tspElderberry Sirup Klassik
- Optional: 2 thin slices of fresh ginger
Method

1. Bring water just to the threshold of boiling and take it off the heat.

2. Add the chamomile (and ginger, if using) to a teapot or jug.

3. Pour the water over and cover. Steep for eight minutes.

4. Strain into two cups and stir a teaspoon of Elderberry Sirup into each.

5. Dim one lamp in the room before drinking.
