Shipping Policy

Overview

This Shipping Policy describes where we ship, what shipping costs, and how long delivery typically takes. The customer facing summary lives at /shipping. The binding contract language lives at /legal/terms.

Shipping zones, costs, and delivery times

Austria. Free standard shipping for orders of €30 or more, otherwise €10 flat. Standard delivery: 3 to 5 business days.

European Union. Free standard shipping for orders of €100 or more, otherwise €20 flat. Standard delivery: 5 to 7 business days.

Rest of Europe (including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway). Shipping is calculated by weight, free for orders of €150 or more. Standard delivery: 7 to 10 business days. For the United Kingdom, import duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid with the order, so nothing further is payable on delivery. For the other countries, import duties and taxes may apply in the destination country and are paid by the recipient.

United States. Orders to the United States are shipped with FedEx International from our studio in Vienna and delivered by FedEx with tracking. Shipping is free for orders of €500 or more. Below €500, shipping is charged by the total weight of the order, from €57, and the exact rate is shown at checkout. Transit times with FedEx to the United States vary, so we cannot give a delivery time. Orders leave our studio as described under Order processing. Import duties and taxes for the United States are calculated at checkout and paid with the order. Nothing further is payable on delivery. There is no checkout rate for orders under €500 that weigh more than 20 kg. For these orders, please contact support@christiane.co. From €500, orders over 20 kg also ship free.

Shipping rates for the United States for orders under €500, by total order weight, each up to and including the weight shown: 1 kg €57, 2 kg €62, 3 kg €75, 4 kg €84, 5 kg €93, 6 kg €108, 7 kg €119, 8 kg €129, 9 kg €140, 10 kg €151, 11 kg €149, 12 kg €153, 13 kg €158, 14 kg €162, 15 kg €166, 16 kg €170, 17 kg €174, 18 kg €179, 19 kg €183, 20 kg €187.

Worldwide (outside Europe). Shipping is calculated by weight, free for orders from €250 to €500 depending on the destination region. Standard delivery: 10 to 20 business days. Import duties and taxes may apply in the destination country and are paid by the recipient. For orders to the United States, the United States section above applies.

Delivery times are estimates and start from the day after dispatch. Customs handling for shipments outside the EU may add time. We do not control postal carrier delays.

Order processing

Orders received on a business day before 14:00 CET are typically dispatched the same or next business day from our studio in Vienna. Orders received on weekends or Austrian public holidays are dispatched on the next business day.

Risk of loss

For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person designated by you, receive the goods. This does not apply if you choose a carrier that was not offered by us.

Lost or damaged shipments

If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, or arrives damaged, contact us at support@christiane.co with your order number. We will work with the carrier to investigate and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
