1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to consumers and business customers. A consumer is a natural person who places an order for purposes that are not predominantly related to their trade, business, or profession.

By placing an order, you agree to the version of these Terms & Conditions available at the time of your order.

2. Products and information

The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer. It is an invitation to place an order.

Product descriptions, images, prices, availability, delivery times, shipping costs, and payment options are displayed in the online shop before you complete your order.

Information on our website is provided for general product information only. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Where products are food supplements, cosmetics, or wellness products, they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

3. Order process and contract formation

You can place products in the shopping cart and review your order before submitting it. Before completing the order, you can correct input errors.

By clicking the final order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected products. The order button clearly indicates that the order creates a payment obligation.

A contract is formed when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation by email or by dispatching the goods, whichever occurs first.

We may reject an order if products are unavailable, payment authorization fails, delivery to the requested address is not possible, or there is an obvious pricing or product error.

4. Prices, taxes, and shipping costs

All prices are shown in euros and include statutory VAT, unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs, delivery restrictions, and any additional charges are shown before you complete your order.

The total price shown at checkout is the price payable for your order.

5. Payment

The available payment methods are displayed at checkout. These may include credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, SEPA Direct Debit, and Bankomatkarte.

Payment processing may be handled by third party payment providers. Their own terms and data protection information may apply.

If a payment is reversed, refused, or not completed, we may refuse or delay delivery until payment has been successfully received.

6. Delivery

Delivery is made to the delivery address provided by you during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are:

• Austria: 3 to 5 business days
• European Union: 5 to 7 business days

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. If delivery is delayed, we will inform you where reasonably possible.

For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or a person designated by you receives the goods. This does not apply if you choose a carrier that was not offered by us.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

8. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by a clear statement, for example by email or letter, that you wish to withdraw from the contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires.

9. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged fees for the reimbursement.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods, unless we expressly agree to bear them or unless the goods are defective.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if that loss results from handling that was not necessary to check the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

10. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, or may expire, in particular for:

• Goods that are made to customer specifications or clearly personalized.
• Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire quickly.
• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been removed after delivery.
• Goods that, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature.

This does not affect your statutory warranty rights if the goods are defective.

12. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply.

If goods are defective, please contact us at support@christiane.co and describe the issue. Your statutory rights are not limited by this contact request.

Any voluntary guarantee applies only if expressly stated for a specific product. A voluntary guarantee does not limit statutory warranty rights.

13. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please contact us first at support@christiane.co so we can try to resolve any issue directly.

Unless legally required, we are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. We may decide on a case by case basis whether to participate voluntarily.

14. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for personal injury, and where mandatory law provides for liability.

In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of material contractual obligations. Material contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfilment is necessary for proper performance of the contract and on which the customer may reasonably rely.

For consumers, mandatory statutory liability rights remain unaffected.

15. Promotional codes and discounts

Promotional codes, vouchers, and discounts may be subject to additional conditions, validity periods, minimum order values, or product exclusions. These conditions will be displayed where the promotion is offered.

Promotional codes cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

16. Applicable law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.

17. Place of jurisdiction

For business customers, the competent court in Vienna, Austria, shall have jurisdiction.

For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits mandatory consumer jurisdiction rights.

18. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable to your order is the version available at the time you place the order.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
