The Story
Fichtenwipfel Sirup is made from carefully selected baby spruce tips, freshly picked in a lush Alpine forest at about 1,200 meters altitude. To protect each tree, only a handful of tips are taken from any one plant.
Spruce trees only bud once a year, around May, so this product can only be made during a narrow window of several weeks each year. Two ingredients, one season, no shortcuts.

Why is it only made once a year?
Spruce trees only put out fresh tips for a few weeks each May. Once that window closes, the tips harden and the season is over until next year.
Can children take it?
Yes. The sirup is just spruce tips and cane sugar, suitable as a daily teaspoon. As with any sweetener, use in moderation.
